The EFRA GP in Brooklands 2008 was also a first warmup for the EC 2009 which will be held at this track. For that reason a lot of topdrivers appeared for the training and made use of the good English weather to make themselves familiar with the track. Already during the training one could realize that asphalt and grip were very good. M. Feldmann drove lap times of 20.4 which was even faster than the track record of the previous year.
In the qualification M. Feldmann gained the pole position in both classes, and in the Touring Car Class the distance to all other pilots was quite obviously. In the Formula Class a duel between M. Feldmann and J. Poelmans became apparent.
M. Feldmann also won the semi-final of the Touring Car Class and therefore he started in the final from the pole. B. Arnaldi was unlucky and had to give up according to a fractured shaft.
In the Formula Class M. Feldmann also profited from his pole and won the race with a lap distance in front of J. Poelmans and C. Hetland in the third place. So M. Feldmann/ FG could gain this EC run as victory, too.
